Amazing Place presents
"Using the Arts" in new series on Aging Well

The community is invited to attend the presentation by Amazing Place, "Using the Arts to Enrich the Lives of Those with Dementia", the first in the Aging Well series at the Hope and Healing Center & Institute, 717 Sage Road, Tuesday, December 5th from 11:30AM -1:30 PM. The program will offer 2.0 CEU credits to LMFT, LCSW and Clinical Psychologists.

There is increasing evidence that participating in art activities can benefit the brain. Amazing Place is well versed in how the arts have enriched the lives of our participants who have mild to moderate dementia. We will be sharing research in addition to what we’ve learned about the benefits of using the Visual, Literary, Performing and Culinary Arts in our program and how that translates to all of us as we age.

Presenters from Amazing Place include Tracey Brown, Executive Director; Suzy LaForge, Art Instructor and Marketing Director; Susan Giles, Community and Church Liaison; Emile Unverzagt, Participant Program Director and Chef Michael Lieb, Culinary Director.
