Successful AP Luncheon Honors
AP Founder, Participant and Caregiver
Margaret and Ron Bandy

More than 450 people attended the successful Amazing Place Luncheon at River Oaks Country Club October 14th. The luncheon raised more than $325,000 to benefit the unique programs and services of Amazing Place. Keynote Speaker, Nick Buettner, shared what he's learned from studying the world's longest living people in the Blue Zones.

The luncheon was especially poignant as it honored one of the Amazing Place founders and former Executive Director, Margaret Bandy and her husband, Ron. Margaret, diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, is now a participant at Amazing Place as her family deals with the journey of dementia. Co-chairs for the luncheon were Margaret and Ron's son and two daughters and their spouses-Lisa and Griff Bandy, Margo and Curt Crofford, and Elizabeth and Ermal Shpata. It's not too late to make donations for the luncheon. Just click on this link.
